Woodland House Bed and Breakfast- OPENS 6TH APRIL 2012

Mine host, Aileen Anne MacGregor, who is a local Scottish lass with a warm smile and a radiant personality who will make you very welcome in her home. From our location we have easy access to the Fort William Golf course, Nevis Range Mountain cable cars, and of course, Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. There is also direct access to the Ben Nevis whisky distillery, several cycle paths, trails and walks including a cycle path and walkway into the town centre of Fort William.

Woodland House welcomes families, children and pets (Travel cots and high-chairs are available) with a special welcome to disabled people as we have facilities including full wheelchair access.

Things to do  in the area include taking a ride on the steam train called 'The Jacobite'. This is a genuine main line passenger train that departs from Fort William and offers a leisurely means of travel allowing you the time to enjoy the stunning scenery from Fort William to Mallaig including 'Neptune’s Staircase' 'Glenfinnan Monument' and, of course, the viaduct where 'Harry Potter' was filmed. Don't forget to check out our 'Activities Page' for more activities.

Finally, after your day's activities, come on home and drift into a relaxing sleep to end the day perfectly.
